He knew they would watch Him suffer. He knew they would experience confusion, fear, and grief. But He also knew that the cross would give way to resurrection, sorrow would be transformed into joy, and the disciples would receive direct access to the Father through Him.
SUMMARY: Jesus told His disciples that there would be “a little while” of sorrow.
